China Southern Hello guys, I am finally back in Singapore now, I generally have a very bad impression with China Southern not only their hard product but also their staffs.  I flew on the China Southern flight 351 bound for Singapore yesterday and eventually having a horrible experience. When during check-in, the check-in agent said that the flight was oversold by 11 seats. The flight actually only have 130 passengers, by what that China Southern agent mean, this flight should have 152 passengers onboard ( China Southern's old A320 have 8 Business + 144 Economy). The drinks on the trolley are not their full drink menu even in the first row, they didn't put any red Wine or Beer, WHAT IS THIS, this is not Dom or Krug champagne or something that retail over 100$, why do you need to hide it in front of passengers?  The food onboard that flight for some unknwon reason is totally disgusting and even worse compared to what Spring Airlines( A Chinese Budget Ai...

Boarding for Hong Kong Scoot Dreamliner taken us to Hong Kong Singapore(SIN) –  Hong Kong(HKG) Monday, June 26 Depart: 6:05AM Arrive: 9:35AM Duration: 3hr30min Aircraft: Boeing 787-8 Boarding through door L1 Scoot Biz For this flight, Scoot allow Economy passenger using door L1 even though they also opened door L2, I think that they are trying to squeeze boarding time a little bit, but this is not a smart idea for a traditional airline. Economy Bulkhead As I have mention in my quick review, Scoot create a Zone Called "Scoot Silence" which is generally a kid's free zone! No kids under the age of 12 are allowed on this seats. These seats are recognized as "Super Seats" Which offer 35-inch of pitch and adjustable headrests. First row is called Bulkhead seat which is even more expensive than a Super seats. Delay Notice This flight is scheduled to depart at 21:30PM. I arrived at the airport at around 6:30PM, after check-in, I asked the manager is there any hot food inside the "King Lounge" unfortunately this lounge doesn't have any hot food. I went to the restaurant near the Check-in desk, is reasonably priced per Chinese Airport standards. China Eastern VIP lounge This lounge is located next to China Eastern lounge, which some hot food option available. Lounge entrance This lounge has very good interior compare to what you usually expect from a domestic First Class lounge. "KING LOUNGE" Shenzhen Air called their lounge King Lounge, all of them expect Wuxi have hot food, which the reception staff told us that they are requesting it. Priority Check-in, Doesn't look like very priority My flight to Helsinki leaves Guangzhou at 9:50am, thanks to ShenZhou service. I arrive at Guangzhou Baiyun airport at about 7:30am. Check-in is the SLOWEST I HAVE EVER BEEN, Ground stuff isn't much better than ANY US AIRPORT and they told me that the whole airplane is full.  LYING to me again after Singapore Changi! Security in Guangzhou is totally a mess, just like usual, Unlike Lucky from One Mile At A Time's experience , this time they learnt their lesson and opened the priority queue. However, What is so good about this "Priority Line" maybe just the red carpet, the line is as long as normal lines, as I pass through security queue and eventually got inside the lady behind me is holding a Finnair Economy Class Ticket, isn't much better than Singapore Changi's security . Our flight was scheduled to be departed at 2:35 PM in Guangzhou, this flight is codeshared with Kunming Airlines and Air China. Shenzhen Airlines 9823 Guangzhou(CAN) – Wuxi(WUX) Saturday, July 1 Depart: 2:35 PM Arrive: 5:35 AM Duration: 2hr35min Aircraft: Boeing 737 Seat: 1A (First Class) Guangzhou airport had recently got a few self-boarding machines. Unfortunately, it was not in use. Hopefully, it will be soon in use. Upon boarding, I heard Shenzhen Airline’s audio, in three languages, English, Chinese and Cantonese keep repeating over and over. Is actually quite weird that Guangzhou’s Landlord, China Southern don’t have Cantonese Audio onboard.
